You can use your MeetNotes meetings inside Claude. Add MeetNotes as a custom connector in Claude's settings, sign in with the email you use for MeetNotes, and then ask: "What did we decide about the budget on Monday?", "List my open action items" or "Give me the minutes of the site visit as a Word file." Claude answers from your own meetings, not from a transcript you pasted in.
It works on free Claude accounts too (free accounts can have one custom connector). Setup takes about two minutes. The steps are below, then what you can ask and what Claude can and cannot do with your meetings.
How to add MeetNotes to Claude
- Open Claude connector settings. Tap +, then Add custom connector.
- Name it MeetNotes. Paste this into the Remote MCP server URL field:
https://getmeetnotes.com/mcp. Leave the detected sign-in settings as they are. - Add the connector, then click Connect and sign in with the same email you use for MeetNotes. Approve access.
- In a new chat, ask: "Use MeetNotes to find the decisions from my last meeting."
If Claude does not see your meetings, open + → Connectors in the chat and switch MeetNotes on. On a team Claude account, an owner may need to add the connector first.
You never paste a password or an API key into Claude. To stop access, remove the connector in Claude's settings. The same steps, with a copy button for the URL, are on our assistants page.

What you can ask Claude

Claude reads the finished minutes: summary, key points, decisions and action items with owners, plus any extra sections your meeting format has. When you ask for someone's exact words, it reads the transcript, so the quote is what was actually said.
Recording still happens in MeetNotes
Claude does not listen to your meeting. You record in MeetNotes:
- In the room: on your phone, on your Apple Watch or on your Mac.
- Online calls: invite the MeetNotes Notetaker to a Google Meet, Zoom or Teams call, from the app or straight from Claude.
- An existing file: import the audio in the app.
When processing finishes, Claude can find the meeting the next time you ask.
Your meetings, your permission
The connector reads the meetings your account can open. It can search them, read transcripts, list action items and make private export files. Sending the notetaker to a call spends your MeetNotes minutes, the same as in the app.
It cannot delete meetings, change your balance or buy anything. What Claude has already shown you in a chat stays in that chat, so removing the connector stops new access but does not reach back into old conversations.

FAQ
Does the MeetNotes connector work on a free Claude account? Yes. Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector, and MeetNotes can be that one.
Does asking Claude about my meetings use MeetNotes minutes? No. Reading and asking about meetings you have already recorded is free. Recording, importing audio and sending the notetaker use minutes, the same as in the app.
Can I ask about a Hindi or mixed-language meeting? Yes. MeetNotes writes the transcript and minutes in the language of the meeting, including Hinglish. You can ask Claude in English about a Hindi meeting, or ask in Hindi.
