What MeetNotes is
MeetNotes is an AI meeting minutes app for in-person meetings. You record a meeting on your phone, and MeetNotes produces a transcript with speaker names plus formal minutes of meeting — a summary, key takeaways, decisions, and action items with owners — as a shareable PDF and an editable Word file.
MeetNotes requires no hardware. It is the app alternative to dedicated AI recorder devices, which cost ₹17,000–21,000 in India. The phone you already own does the recording; MeetNotes does everything after.
Who it is for
MeetNotes is built for people whose meetings happen in rooms, not on video calls: founders and managers in small and mid-size businesses, consultants and chartered accountants meeting clients, site and project teams, housing society committees, and anyone who has ever been told "please circulate the MoM".
Languages
MeetNotes transcribes meetings in more than 30 languages, including Hindi, Hinglish (Hindi-English mixed speech), Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. A meeting can switch languages mid-sentence and still transcribe correctly. The minutes are written in whichever language the user prefers, independent of the language spoken in the meeting.
What it costs
MeetNotes is free to start: every new user gets 30 minutes of recording included. Beyond that, there are paid plans and minute packs that never expire, purchased inside the app.
Platforms
MeetNotes is launching on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android); the early-access waitlist gets in first. There is no cloud dashboard to sign into — recording, transcripts, minutes, editing and sharing all happen in the app.
How minutes are produced
- You place your phone on the table and record the meeting in the app.
- MeetNotes generates a transcript in which each speaker is labelled by name — who said what, with timestamps.
- AI then writes the minutes of meeting: summary, key takeaways, decisions, and action items with owners.
- You can edit the minutes in the app, then share them as a PDF or Word file on WhatsApp or email.
Privacy
Recording starts and stops only when the user chooses. Audio is uploaded securely for the sole purpose of generating the transcript and minutes, and users can delete a meeting and its data at any time. Full details are in the privacy policy.
