- Make sure no phone call or WhatsApp call is running while you record.
- Check MeetNotes has microphone permission in your phone's settings.
- Record again with the phone on the table and MeetNotes open on screen.
Why it happens
On Android, a call takes the microphone away from every other app, so MeetNotes hears only silence for as long as the call lasts.
If the meeting is a call
Put it on speaker and record from a second phone, or send the notetaker into the online call.
A recording that is silent from start to finish is never charged.
