How to record a meeting with Apple Watch

Open MeetNotes on the watch and tap Record, or say "Record with MeetNotes" to Siri. Tap Finish and the recording goes to MeetNotes by itself.

  1. Sign in to MeetNotes on your iPhone and open the app there once, so the watch is connected to your account.
  2. On the watch, open MeetNotes and tap Record. You can also tap the MeetNotes complication on your watch face, or say "Record with MeetNotes" to Siri.
  3. Tap Finish when the meeting ends. The recording is sent to MeetNotes by itself.
  4. Read the minutes in MeetNotes on your iPhone, Mac or the web, like any phone recording.

Control an iPhone recording from the watch

While your iPhone is recording, the watch shows the timer and lets you Mark, Pause, Resume and Finish. To start the iPhone recorder from the watch, MeetNotes has to be open on the iPhone.

Good to know

  • The watch app comes with the iPhone app and needs watchOS 10 or later.
  • A watch recording uses minutes the same way a phone recording does.
