How to rename speakers in MeetNotes (Speaker 1, Speaker 2)

Open the meeting, tap the speaker faces next to the date (or ⋯ then Name the speakers), pick a voice and type the person's name. It changes everywhere, including the PDF.

  1. Open the meeting.
  2. Tap the round speaker faces under the title, or a speaker's name in the transcript. A "?" is a voice nobody has named yet. You can also tap ⋯ and then Name the speakers.
  3. Pick a speaker, for example "Speaker 1".
  4. Type the person's name, or choose them from your people, and save.
  5. The name is used everywhere: the transcript, the minutes, the to-dos and the PDF.

Do I have to do this every time?

No. Name a voice once and MeetNotes recognises it in later meetings. Check the names when a meeting comes back, in case a voice was matched to the wrong person, and fix it the same way.

Not sure who a speaker is?

Tap the ▶ time next to a line in the transcript to hear that moment of the recording. See playing a moment of the recording.
