In Settings, under Data & privacy, set "Where your meetings live" to Only on this device. New meetings move to the phone once ready and are erased from our servers.
Tap your picture at the top of the screen, then Settings.
Under Data & privacy, tap Where your meetings live.
Choose Only on this device, or Only on this device + my Google Drive to also keep an encrypted copy in your own Drive that only you hold the key to.
From now on, each new meeting and its recording move to this phone once ready and are erased from our servers.
Good to know
The default is On MeetNotes, which keeps meetings on all your devices and on the web.
A meeting kept only on the phone isn't on your other devices or the web, and is lost with the phone unless you chose the Google Drive copy.
To delete one, open it, tap ⋯, then Delete from this phone.
