How to upload an audio or video file to MeetNotes

Tap the microphone button, then Upload a file, and pick one or more recordings. Each file becomes its own transcript and minutes, just like a meeting recorded in the app.

  1. Tap the round microphone button in the middle of the bottom bar.
  2. Tap Upload a file ("Audio or video you already have").
  3. Pick one or more files.
  4. Each file uploads in turn and becomes its own meeting, with a transcript by speaker and minutes.

Which files work

  • Audio: MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, M4B, CAF, AMR, 3GP, WMA and more.
  • Video: MP4, MOV and WEBM. The sound in the video is transcribed.
  • Up to 300 MB per file.

Good to know

  • An uploaded file uses your minutes exactly like a recording, and the 100 free minutes cover uploads too.
  • Picked the wrong file? An upload waits about a minute before it starts ("Starting in … s"). Tap Cancel then and nothing is charged.
  • A batch carries on if one file fails.
  • You can also share a file to MeetNotes from another app, such as Files or WhatsApp.
