MeetNotes Is Now on WhatsApp: Send a Voice Note, Get Your Meeting Notes Back

10 Oct 2026

MeetNotes is now on WhatsApp, at +91 80 3145 2999. Send or forward a meeting recording or a voice note to that number, and the notes come back in the same chat: a short summary and the to-dos, and for a meeting, the full notes as a PDF with the transcript. A voice note you record for yourself comes back as its to-do list. You can also type "what are my to-dos?" or "what did we decide about the price?" and get the answer from your own meetings. Your first recording, up to 30 minutes, is free.

Open the chat on WhatsApp, or read the full guide on the MeetNotes on WhatsApp page.

Why WhatsApp

A lot of work already happens on WhatsApp. A supplier sends a four-minute voice note with two prices in it. A site supervisor records an update at the end of the day. Someone forwards you the recording of a meeting you missed. Until now, getting notes from any of these meant saving the audio, opening another app and importing it.

Now you forward it to MeetNotes, the same way you would forward it to a colleague. The notes come back where you already are.

How to start (about a minute)

  1. Open the chat. Tap this link, or save +91 80 3145 2999 and send it any message.
  2. Connect your account once. The chat replies with a sign-in link. Sign in with your MeetNotes account and the chat is linked. If you already use the app, you can also connect from Settings, then WhatsApp messages: tap Connect, and WhatsApp opens with a short code already typed, so you only tap Send.
  3. Send or forward a recording. A voice note, an audio file, or a recording someone sent you. The notes usually arrive within a minute or two.

New to MeetNotes? Install the app first; every account starts with 100 free minutes. Your very first recording on WhatsApp, up to 30 minutes, works even before you connect: the notes are made straight away and move into your account when you link.

What comes back

A meeting recording. A short summary and the list of to-dos in the chat, followed by the full notes as a PDF, with the transcript included. If you would rather not get the PDF, or want it without the transcript, you can switch either off in the app under Settings, then WhatsApp messages.

A voice note to yourself. Just its to-do list, in one message. Say "remind me to send the revised order to Raju by Monday and call the transporter", and you get those two tasks back as a list. The full note is in the app if you need it.

Questions about your meetings. Type a question in the chat and MeetNotes answers from your own meetings:

  • "what are my to-dos?" gives your open tasks
  • "last meeting" gives the notes of your latest meeting
  • "tasks from the budget meeting" gives that meeting's action items
  • "what did we decide about the price?" searches what was actually said
  • "minutes left" gives your balance

It only answers about your meetings and MeetNotes itself. Ask it for a joke or the weather and it will politely point you back to your notes.

Any language, or several

There is no language to choose. A voice note that moves between Hindi and English is transcribed as it was spoken, and so are voice notes in other languages. This matters on WhatsApp more than anywhere else, because that is where most people speak the way they actually speak.

Long recordings

WhatsApp lets you send voice notes and audio up to 16 MB, and documents up to 100 MB. For a long meeting recording, attach it as a Document instead of as audio. If a file is bigger still, the chat sends you a link where you can upload it, and the notes still come back to the chat.

Privacy, in short

MeetNotes only receives what you send to its own chat. It never sees your other WhatsApp chats. Recordings you send this way are processed, stored and deleted exactly like recordings made in the app, and you can delete any meeting at any time. Reply STOP to turn off the messages you switched on, or disconnect WhatsApp in Settings. The details are in our privacy policy.

What it costs

Your first recording on WhatsApp, up to 30 minutes, is free. After that, recordings use minutes from your MeetNotes balance, the same as any recording, and every account starts with 100 free minutes. The WhatsApp messages themselves are free for a limited time.

If your voice notes are what you want to turn into text, you may also like WhatsApp audio to text, which covers sharing and importing audio into the app, and Hindi voice to text.

FAQ

What is the MeetNotes WhatsApp number? +91 80 3145 2999. Send it any message to start, or open the chat directly.

Why does WhatsApp show a company name instead of MeetNotes? MeetNotes is made by Ultragames Entertainment Private Limited, so WhatsApp may show that name for the number while the MeetNotes name is being approved. It is the official MeetNotes number.

Can I use MeetNotes on WhatsApp without the app? You need a MeetNotes account to connect the chat, and today that means installing the app once. After you connect, you can send recordings and ask about your meetings from WhatsApp.
