The problem

Why this room is hard

A good interview needs attention. Taking notes throughout can interrupt the conversation, while rebuilding an episode outline afterwards means listening again for the books, ideas and follow-ups you meant to capture.

How MeetNotes handles it

What changes

Choose Podcast episode

Select Podcast episode under Professions before recording. Use a solo episode, interview or conversation with several hosts.

Record, then review

Keep your usual production recording setup. MeetNotes can capture a separate in-room recording for notes; the episode write-up is generated after recording and processing finish.

An outline for your show notes

Review the episode overview, topics in order, key takeaways and resources mentioned. Check names, claims and quotations against your recording before publishing.

Keep the production follow-ups

Capture commitments made during the conversation, such as sending a book reference or confirming a fact. Export the notes to PDF or Word for your editor.

The example shown here is fictional and illustrative, not a measured product result. MeetNotes does not promise live show notes, automatic clip editing or chapter times aligned to your final edited episode. Always verify quotes and timing against the recording you publish. Ask everyone involved before recording.

FAQ

Common questions

Does MeetNotes write podcast notes while I record?

It records the conversation while you focus on it. The transcript and episode notes are generated after recording and processing finish; this is not live show-note editing.

Can I publish the notes directly?

Treat them as a draft. Check names, factual claims, resources and quoted words against your audio, then edit for your audience.

Will I get ready-to-publish chapter timestamps?

Do not rely on generated notes for final chapter timing. Topics can form an outline, but cuts and edits change timestamps. Verify chapters against the final episode.

Can podcasters request review access?

Yes. Visit our Creators & reviewers page and tell us which podcast workflow you want to test. Any complimentary allowance and end date are confirmed individually.
