The problem

Why this room is hard

Typing while someone describes their symptoms is a bad way to listen, and a worse way to be listened to. But a consultation that is not written down is a consultation that cannot be reviewed, handed over, or referred on. Most practices resolve this by writing three lines afterwards and losing everything else.

How MeetNotes handles it

What changes

The consultation stays a conversation

The phone records; you listen. What the patient said about when the pain started is preserved in their own words rather than compressed into a keyword.

In the language the patient speaks

Patients describe symptoms in whatever language they think in — there is no language to set, and MeetNotes transcribes what was actually said. Your notes come out in whichever of 100+ languages you write in.

A record you can hand over

Summary, advice given, and follow-ups as a PDF you can file, attach, or share with a colleague you are referring to.

Private by default

A recording belongs to the account that made it. Nothing is visible to anyone else unless you explicitly share it, and any meeting can be deleted permanently from the app.

MeetNotes is a note-taking tool, not a medical device or a diagnostic aid, and its transcripts can contain errors — review the notes before they enter a patient record. You are responsible for obtaining patient consent before recording, and for meeting the confidentiality rules that apply to your practice.
