AI meeting assistant

An AI meeting assistant
for the room
and the call

MeetNotes is an AI meeting assistant that works wherever the meeting happens. In a room, your phone records it, with no bot and no device. For a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams call, the MeetNotes Notetaker joins and records. Afterwards you get a transcript with speaker names, the minutes, and to-dos with an owner and a due date when one was said. Later you can search past meetings in the app, or ask about them on WhatsApp, in Slack, or in ChatGPT once you connect it.

For: People whose week mixes office meetings, client visits and video calls, and anyone who has to chase what was agreed

Where it works

One assistant for every kind of meeting

The meetingHow MeetNotes captures itDoes anything join?
Around a table, on a site visit, in a clinicPhone app: put the phone down and press record. A Mac or an Apple Watch works tooNo. There is no call to join
Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft TeamsNotetaker: paste the call link in the app, add notes@getmeetnotes.com to an invite you organise, or ask ChatGPT to send itYes, a visible MeetNotes Notetaker. If the call has a waiting room, the host admits it
A recording you already haveImport the file in the app, or send it to MeetNotes on WhatsApp or TelegramNo

Every meeting lands in the same account, on your phone and at getmeetnotes.com/app. More on calls: transcribing Zoom, Meet and Teams. More on rooms: recording in-person meetings.

After the meeting

What the assistant hands you

Transcript with speaker names

Who said what, with timestamps. Name a voice once and it is recognised in later meetings.

Minutes you can send

Summary, key takeaways and decisions, as a PDF or an editable Word file. The people you send it to need no account.

Answers about past meetings

Search every meeting in the app. Or ask "what did we decide about the budget?" on WhatsApp, with /meetnotes in Slack, or in ChatGPT once connected.

Meetings that switch language

No language to set. A sentence that starts in Hindi and ends in English is transcribed as spoken, and the minutes can be written in any of 110 languages.

To-dos with owners

Every to-do has a name next to it

Who, and by when

Each to-do carries the person who took it on, and a due date when one was said. Nobody has to write the follow-up list after the meeting.

One list across meetings

The To-dos tab gathers the open items from every recording, sorted into overdue, today, this week and later. Tick one off when it is done.

Assign it to someone

Assign a to-do to a person and it moves to a shared list with them. WhatsApp opens on their chat with the link to join, and you see when they tick it off.

Send people their list

Send someone all of their open items on WhatsApp in one message, or set a due date with a reminder on your phone.

The to-dos follow you into other apps too: a To-dos table in Notion that ticks off both ways, the to-dos in every Slack message, and "what are my to-dos?" on WhatsApp.

Ask about your meetings

Your meetings, inside ChatGPT

Connect MeetNotes to ChatGPT once, then ask in your own words: what was decided last week, which action items are still open and who owns them, or for a Word copy of the minutes. The assistant only sees the meetings your MeetNotes account can open, and it cannot delete your meetings. Setup, and the other assistants you can connect: use MeetNotes from your AI assistant.

Where the minutes go

Into the apps you already use

The minutes of every meeting can arrive as a Slack message, as a page in Notion with its to-dos in a table, or as a PDF on WhatsApp and email. Everything MeetNotes connects to is on one page: connections.

Honestly

When you may not need it

If every meeting you have is a video call on one platform, and nobody switches language, that platform's own meeting notes may be enough. MeetNotes is for weeks where meetings happen in rooms as well as on calls, in more than one language, and where the follow-ups matter. The way to know is one real meeting on the free minutes.

FAQ

Common questions

What is an AI meeting assistant?

Software that records a meeting, transcribes it, and writes up the summary, the decisions and the action items, so nobody has to take notes. MeetNotes does this for in-person meetings on a phone as well as for Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls.

Does it work for in-person meetings?

Yes. That is where MeetNotes started: put the phone on the table and press record. Nothing joins anything, and there is no device to buy.

Does a bot join my online meetings?

Only if you send it. For Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, the MeetNotes Notetaker joins as a visible participant, records, and the minutes arrive when the call ends. If the call has a waiting room, the host admits it.

Can I ask ChatGPT about my past meetings?

Yes. Connect MeetNotes to ChatGPT once, then ask what was decided, which to-dos are open and who owns them, or for a copy of the minutes. It only sees meetings your account can open.

Can it assign to-dos to people?

Every to-do comes with the person who took it on in the meeting. In the To-dos tab you can assign a to-do to someone, which moves it to a shared list with them and opens WhatsApp with the link to join.

Is there a free AI meeting assistant?

MeetNotes is free to start: every account includes 100 minutes of recording. After that there are monthly plans in the app, and minute packs that never expire.

Which languages does it understand?

You don't pick a language first. It is strongest in widely spoken languages and the major Indian languages, including meetings that mix them with English. The minutes can be written in any of 110 languages.
